Contact Avon and Somerset Police

Have you been a victim of crime?

If you report the crime to the police they will provide you with information on what you can expect to happen with your case. They can also pass your details on to Victim Support (if you wish).

Have you witnessed a crime?

If you have witnessed a crime taking place, or have information about a crime, you ought to report it. The information you provide could stop similar things happening to other people.

If an offender is caught and charged you may be asked to attend court to give evidence (essentially be asked questions about what you witnessed). This can be quite a daunting task, but don't worry, there is plenty of information and people available to help you through the process.
