Faith
The UK has a diverse faith community. The primary faith in the UK is Christianity which is pursued through bodies such as the Church of England, the Catholic Church and the Methodist Church. There are other Christian faiths represented too.
There is also a very strong Islamic faith presence in the UK and most other faiths from around the world are also represented.
We can all do so much to develop the confidence and respect of fellow citizens by the way we behave, the language we use and the manner in which we respond to people of different racial backgrounds and cultural beliefs. A lack of cultural awareness in a multicultural society can lead us to be at best, insensitive, and at worst, racist.
